Duane Sorenson’s role in the coffee community has earned him and Stumptown Coffee of Portland recognition on the forefront of this new micro brew revolution. His credits include Food and Wine Magazine Best Boutique Roaster, Roaster Magazine 2006 Roaster of the Year and recent Judge for 2006’s Cup of Excellence.
George Howell is one of the country’s most respected master roasters. His lifetime commitment to quality coffee, humanitarian efforts and sustainable agriculture is enviable. He opened Boston’s renowned Coffee Connection in 1975. In the late 80s, he founded the distinguished Cup of Excellence, GHCC and Terroir Coffee.
